4 players who failed to last more than one season

Spanish player Miguel Cuesta

Over the next three seasons, he only managed to score three goals in the league, which was a source of frustration for him. Given the various constraints he faced, he retired at the age of 31.

Brazilian striker Batista Edinaldo

Among the players who have had just one good season in their career in the history of football, there is Grafite in it. This player is a Brazilian striker also known as Edinaldo Batista Libânio and was born on April 2, 1979, in Campo Limpo Paulista. In club, he played for the German team Wolfsburg where he made a name for himself in a single season.  
This is the 2008/2009 season. During this season, through these exploits, he has sufficiently guided the club towards the German championship. With an impressive tally of 28 goals in just 25 games, he deservedly earned Germany's Player of the Year award. Unfortunately, after this season, Grafite could not reproduce this same form. He signed afterwards with the Shabab Al Ahl team, but nothing extraordinary was achieved on his side.

Spanish player Lucas Perez

Lucas Perez is a top player who only shined for one season. Of Spanish origin, he was born on September 10, 1988, in La Coruña. In 2015/2016, he played a key role as a playmaker for relegation-battling Deportivo La Coruña. Thanks to his remarkable performances, with a total of 17 goals and 10 assists, Arsenal FC signed him with 17 million pounds sterling. 
Unfortunately, that sum turned out to be an unfortunate investment, as Perez managed to score just one goal in two league seasons with Arsenal. Now 35, Perez now plays for Spanish club Cadiz, which avoided relegation the previous season. He always provides the effort to achieve another memorable season before ending his career.

Striker Saido Berahino

Saido Berahino, currently 30, is one of football's most sought-after talents. He is currently playing for Ligue 1 side Sheffield Wednesday since August 31, 2021. Berahino made a wonderful debut on the football scene in the 2014/15 season, scoring 19 goals in all competitions for West Brom.  
Likewise, he scored 10 goals for the England U21 team in the UEFA U21 Championship. Since that time, West Brom have had to struggle to keep him in their ranks as Berahino expressed his desire to leave. Unfortunately, his aborted transfer to Tottenham had disastrous consequences on his career, and he never returned to his best level.
